Salary: $195K – $290K + Equity

What you will do

• Design and build core systems for the new seller funnel to ensure sustainable and scalable growth.
• Develop and scale identity verification (IDV), fraud detection, and automated risk review systems.
• Build platform intelligence tools, including enrichment data and predictive LTV models to optimize seller onboarding.
• Partner with Data Science and Trust teams to create reusable reputation systems and modular fraud prevention frameworks.
• Implement seller bucketing by value and risk profile to accelerate high-potential sellers while containing fraudulent actors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience building scalable systems using Python, Elixir, or JavaScript.
• Ability to work across the stack, with a primary focus on backend systems.
• Experience with SQL and dbt for data pipeline management.
• Must be based in or within commuting distance of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Seattle.
