Salary: $170K – $230K

What you will do

• Lead and scale critical growth initiatives such as onboarding flows, referral systems, guest browsing, and notification systems.
• Design and own end-to-end systems from backend services to frontend experiences to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and data science teams to identify high-leverage growth opportunities.
• Instrument, monitor, and improve conversion funnels to drive measurable lifts in user acquisition and retention.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to raising the bar for engineering excellence across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time, generalist software engineering experience in high-growth tech companies.
• Strong foundation in both backend and frontend development with the ability to integrate systems end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Track record of delivering impactful, user-facing products autonomously.
• Must be based in the US within commuting distance of specified hubs (Seattle, NYC, SF, or LA).

Nice to have

• Experience building E-commerce or Social products.
• Expertise in mobile and/or full stack web development frameworks.
• Familiarity with growth engineering strategies, A/B testing, and analytics.
