Fullstack Engineer (Ecommerce)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Ecommerce): Building and scaling systems for the new seller funnel with an accent on fraud prevention, identity verification, and seller onboarding experiences. Focus on designing high-impact growth systems, developing seller enrichment pipelines, and driving product decisions through A/B testing.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY (Remote co-located team)

Salary: $180K – $230K + Equity

What you will do

• Develop and scale systems for identity verification (IDV), fraud detection, and automated trust/risk reviews.
• Deliver fullstack features across seller onboarding, education, and incentive flows.
• Build seller enrichment pipelines and signals to optimize onboarding and discovery paths.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to accelerate seller success and guide product decisions.
• Create scalable infrastructure for notifications and lifecycle triggers for other teams to leverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of generalist software development experience in high-growth startups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with React and GraphQL for API development in modern frontend applications.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Elixir, and JavaScript preferred).
• Strong ownership instincts with a proven track record of shipping products lightning-fast.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
