TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (Fintech): Driving new business growth for a B2B payment verification platform with an accent on full-cycle sales and C-level relationship management. Location: Remote (US) or onsite in New York City. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 OTE + substantial equity

Walrus is a B2B payment verification leader using proprietary AI technology to combat fraud in the global payments industry.

What you will do

  • Identify and qualify prospects through personal networks, outreach, and data-driven sourcing.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial discovery and qualification to closing legal agreements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and high-level presentations for executive buyers.
  • Create case studies, slide decks, and proposals for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the founding team to experiment with new sales tools, metrics, and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience with repeatable products (SaaS, data, or market research).
  • Experience selling to C-level buyers in finance, operations, IT, cybersecurity, or compliance.
  • Proven ability to own the full sales motion, including prospecting and multithreading.
  • Strong network-building skills and tenacity.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Fintech or early-stage startup experience.
  • Deep knowledge of modern prospecting tools.
  • Experience selling to venture capital, private equity, or institutional endowments.
  • Contribution to sales playbooks and training materials.
