Salary: $138,000 – $155,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Assess and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and infrastructure, prioritizing critical assets.
• Tune security tooling (Tenable, SentinelOne, Sumo Logic) to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Implement security controls, including network segmentation, access controls, and automated compliance tests for SOC 2.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to embed security best practices into the SDLC and delivery pipeline.
• Participate in incident response, investigating alerts and driving the resolution of security incidents.
• Automate security processes using scripting and infrastructure tooling to reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or operations, preferably in cloud-based Linux environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and operating SAST tooling such as CodeQL or SonarQube.
• Strong working knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CIS, and ISO.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (3+ years).
• Strong scripting skills in Go, Python, or shell.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
