What you will do

• Solve complex cloud infrastructure security problems by improving core building blocks and golden paths.
• Build and extend Datadog's Platform Security solutions to enable rapid, secure shipping of code.
• Partner with internal teams to secure the usage of AI and develop AI-based security solutions at scale.
• Provide internal feedback on Datadog's cloud security products to improve them for both internal and external customers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or Cloud Security.
• Proven experience developing and deploying service mesh systems in production Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust with hands-on code review experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes PKI and network technologies such as Consul, Envoy, Cilium, Vault, or Istio.
• Working knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
