What you will do

• Lead clinical data science strategy, applying medical expertise to healthcare pricing, reimbursement, and utilization datasets.
• Design and develop data models, algorithms, and analytical frameworks to translate clinical complexity into actionable product insights.
• Partner with engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure the platform reflects the realities of clinical practice.
• Serve as the authoritative clinical voice internally and externally in cross-functional discussions.
• Identify and implement novel data science approaches to solve problems at the intersection of clinical care and healthcare finance.

Requirements

• MD degree with 3–5+ years of clinical practice experience.
• Experience designing, building, or scaling applications powered by AI or LLMs.
• Fluency in data science tools, specifically Python and SQL.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to command respect from both clinical and technical peers.
• Self-starter mentality capable of thriving in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.
