What you will do

• Define and develop configurable electro-hydraulic solutions based on customer requirements for robotic underwater vehicles.
• Identify specific products for subsea systems and define interfaces, fittings, and hoses.
• Establish high-level product requirements and collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams for new purchases and partnerships.
• Prepare cost, time, and resource estimates and system quotations for hydraulic solutions.
• Create configuration diagrams in VISIO and detailed parts lists to communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, fault finding, and troubleshooting for internal production and external customers.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experience in engineering, specification, and design of hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, and control systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Fareham, Hampshire, UK

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ROV or subsea hydraulic systems, such as HPUs, valve packs, and manipulators.
• Experience with ROV tooling.
• Ability to draw hydraulic schematics using 2D AutoCAD.
• Proven track record in customer support.
