What you will do

• Maintain and enhance the core Ruby on Rails monolith application.
• Perform code reviews and manage production releases.
• Work directly with the CTO to define priorities.
• Proactively engage with Product and Sales stakeholders.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Mentor and support other engineers as the team grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• English: Business-level proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining applications with a large user base.
• Previous startup experience.
• Knowledge of software security and Test-driven development (TDD).
• Japanese language skills.
