Full-stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails/React)

What you will do

• Develop cross-domain product features within a squad of engineers, PMs, designers, and QA.
• Design and build APIs for customers, vendors, and internal use.
• Create integrations with 3rd party APIs.
• Maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
• Estimate tasks and provide continuous feedback to the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and React (or other FE frameworks).
• Availability for 4-5 hours overlap with core hours 11:00 ~ 19:00 GMT+9.
• Business-level English proficiency.
• Experience maintaining a product in a production setting within a Product Team.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Cloud infrastructures.
• Previous startup experience.
• Knowledge of software security and Test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with payment gateway integration.
• Proficiency in Elixir, Scala, Go, or Python.
