TL;DR
Principal AI Engineer (AI): Defining and driving the technical vision for agentic AI across multiple applications with an accent on reasoning loops, tool use, and scalable AI architecture. Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)
Salary: 110,000–150,000 CAD

What you will do
- Define technical vision and reference architecture for agentic AI, including reasoning loops, tool use, and memory systems.
- Build and govern reusable platform components such as model brokers, multi-model routing, and evaluation frameworks.
- Develop advanced prompting strategies and analyze the performance of LLM and GenAI models.
- Drive cross-functional roadmaps, API standards, and integration best practices.
- Mentor engineers, lead knowledge-sharing sessions, and perform peer reviews to ensure technical quality.
- Identify and execute AI use cases with clear business value.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering agentic AI solutions at scale across multiple products.
- Strong expertise in the Microsoft AI ecosystem (Foundry, Copilot Studio, AI Search, OpenAI, RAG).
- Experience with Anthropic platforms (Claude Cowork and Claude Code).
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Java within production environments.
- Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain and Foundry.
- Must be based in Canada.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce.
- Experience with Boomi Agentic AI platform.
