Salary: $126,090–$140,100 CAD

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and end-to-end development of AI features using Python and Go.
• Own the full lifecycle of LLM-based systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Integrate and fine-tune open-source models like LLaMA and Mistral.
• Design RAG pipelines and scalable data ingestion systems for retrieval.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers on technical complex problem solving.
• Champion responsible AI practices, including safety, privacy, and governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a recent focus on AI/LLM systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Golang.
• Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building RAG pipelines and working with vector databases.
• Must be able to work 3 days per week in the Toronto office.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document architecture decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with multi-agent system orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Background in LLM evaluation frameworks and observability tools.
• Experience with GPU inference optimization and quantization.
