What you will do

• Support strategic pre-sales opportunities and facilitate onboarding for new dbt Cloud customers.
• Execute adoption plays including migrations, new feature implementations (Semantic Layer, Mesh), and version upgrades.
• Advise on architecture, design, and best practices within dbt Cloud environments.
• Build solution MVPs and define long-term technical strategies for strategic accounts.
• Partner with CSAs, Sales, and Product teams to improve customer experience and prioritize technical needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as post-sales consulting or technical architecture.
• Expertise with at least one modern cloud data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with dbt Cloud (at least 1 year).
• Strong proficiency in SQL; working knowledge of Python in analytics contexts.
• Proven ability to manage project scope and timelines across multiple simultaneous engagements.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• dbt Analytics Engineering Certification.
• Experience with traditional enterprise ETL tools like Informatica, Datastage, or Talend.
• Success in accelerating usage and expansion in large, complex enterprise accounts.
