Location: 100% remote, must be a resident of Ohio or within 25 miles of Ohio
Salary: $27 – $30 per hour (approx. $4,680 – $5,200 per month)

What you will do
- Evaluate students' Spanish assignments and provide comprehensive feedback to support learning.
- Host weekly virtual group tutoring sessions to clarify concepts and address student questions.
- Serve as an Academic Advisor for a caseload of up to 30 students, building relationships and tracking goals.
- Collaborate with Academic Counselors to identify struggling students and provide tiered support solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and students regarding academic matters.
- Contribute to school-wide academic policies and lead extracurricular clubs based on expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Secondary Education, or a related field.
- Ohio teaching certification or the ability to obtain it.
- At least 3 years of full-time experience teaching high school Spanish in the United States.
- Professional experience supporting secondary education students within the last 5 years.
- Must be currently living in Ohio, within 25 miles of Ohio, or willing to relocate to Ohio.
- Tech-savvy proficiency with Google Workspace, gradebooks, and curriculum platforms.
Nice to have
- Prior online teaching experience.
- Licensure or experience in special education.
- Willingness to attend in-person field trips and activities within Ohio.
