TL;DR
Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Leading complex end-to-end deployments of frontier models for strategic customers with an accent on technical scoping, system design, and production rollout. Focus on building full-stack systems and integrating LLMs to drive measurable workflow impact.
Location: Sydney, Australia. Hybrid work model (3 days in office per week). Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models from initial prototype to stable production.
- Build full-stack systems that deliver customer value and facilitate product learning.
- Embed with customer engineering teams to guide adoption and understand specific needs.
- Manage technical scoping, delivery sequencing, and early removal of blockers.
- Codify working patterns into reusable tools, playbooks, or building blocks.
- Provide field feedback to Research and Product teams to improve model capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience including customer-facing work.
- Proven track record of delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
- Ability to write and review production-grade code in Python, JavaScript, or similar stacks.
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Must be based in Sydney or be able to relocate to Australia.
