What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts including vendor, licensing, software, and services agreements.
• Provide clear, actionable legal guidance and risk assessments to business unit leadership.
• Collaborate closely with privacy and security teams to ensure alignment on information security and business associate agreements.
• Conduct research on legal issues and maintain currency with case law and court opinions.
• Assist with risk management and litigation issues in coordination with outside counsel.
• Contribute to the improvement of contracting processes and the development of agreement templates.

Requirements

• Active membership in the North Carolina bar.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical reasoning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both in-person and electronic formats.
