What you will do

• Setting up and managing new Income Protection claims.
• Requesting and reviewing medical evidence from GPs, consultants and other specialists.
• Building positive relationships with customers, IFAs and third parties.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring claims are handled in line with processes and legislation.
• Delivering a consistent, timely and customer‑focused service aligned to service level agreements.

Requirements

• Experience working in a claims, insurance or customer‑focused environment.
• Knowledge of Income Protection products or a willingness to build this knowledge.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• A customer‑centred approach with the confidence to manage sensitive situations.
• Good judgement and attention to detail when reviewing information and evidence.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
