TL;DR
VFX Artist (GameDev): Creating and implementing stunning visual effects that bring our worlds to life with an accent on optimizing particle systems, shaders, and post-process effects. Focus on collaborating with talented artists, designers, and technical teams in a real production environment.
Location: This position requires you to be in the office in Montréal a few days a week!

What you will do
- Create and implement various VFX (environmental, gameplay-related, character-based).
- Learn to profile and optimize particle systems, shaders, and postprocess effects to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with design, art, and tech teams to visually support gameplay features.
- Bring to life artistic and design visions to enrich the player experience.
- Learn more about video games in real production environment.
Requirements
- Understanding of particle systems.
- Understanding of shaders in general.
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5.
- Be able to work 37,5 hours/week for 4 months starting May 2026.
- Be eligible to work FULL TIME in Canada, in Québec at the time of your application.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Houdini and Substance Designer, an asset.
- Knowledge of Blender, an asset.
