Systems Engineer (Radar): Supporting radar and sensors growth activities, focusing on the G1X radar, a software-defined radar with a regular capability update cycle. Focus on developing enhancements and investigating new areas for product growth, working with current products and contributing to bid activities.

What you will do

• Support bid activities.
• Manage requirements.
• Perform radar performance analysis.
• Develop radar algorithms.
• Design systems and sub-systems.
• Support customer demonstrations.

Requirements

• Positive, social, results-oriented team player with a background in systems engineering.
• Experience of radar, communications or EW systems (5 years minimum).
• Experience with MATLAB, ideally working with recorded radar data.
• Experience working in a recognised industry standard requirements management tool.
• Familiar with principles of 15288:2023.
• Must have a UK or Swedish citizenship.

Hiring process

• Applicants will be required to hold National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or have the ability to gain it.
• Undertake workforce screening activities that may include but are not limited to: Baseline Personnel Security checks, National Security Vetting, reference checks, verification of working rights and in all circumstances preferred candidates will be placed through a security interview.
