What you will do

• Own end-to-end performance and integrity of the vision chain across assigned events.
• Configure, align, and validate video systems including cameras, routing, monitoring, and signal paths.
• Lead technical delivery of vision systems onsite during live events and act as escalation point for faults.
• Proactively identify risks, support pre/post-event testing, and work with MCR, control rooms, and production teams.
• Rig and support field-based broadcast infrastructure including SDI/IP video systems and third-party integrations.
• Maintain documentation, contribute to standards, and provide feedback for system and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in London (Osterley) with extensive worldwide travel and weekend work.
• Strong expertise in live broadcast vision systems and signal workflows.
• Proven experience in outside broadcasts or field-based production environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues under live broadcast constraints.
• Knowledge of audio, comms, and networked broadcast systems; experience with third-party vendors.
• Clear communication skills and sound technical judgement in time-critical environments.
