IT Functional Analyst

Location: Belgium; hybrid work with up to 70% from home. The flex abroad program allows working abroad for up to 45 days.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and align them with technical teams.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support solution design and validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements.
• Provide end-user training and create functional and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Requirements

• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
• Experience as an IT Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Ability to create functional specifications and process documentation.
• Familiarity with SQL, basic data analysis, and ERP, CRM, or other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
