What you will do
- Own the full presales lifecycle from technical discovery and qualification to solution design and validation.
- Lead complex security discussions, translating business risk into outcome-driven architectures utilizing the platform.
- Facilitate customer security posture assessments, maturity reviews, and return on security investment analyses.
- Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to C-suite executives.
- Lead executive briefings, technical workshops, and proof of concepts to accelerate consensus.
- Enable channel partners, MSSPs, and distributors to enhance their technical capabilities for joint enterprise opportunities.
Requirements
- Native level Japanese fluency required.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Japan (no sponsorship).
- 8+ years of experience in senior presales, sales engineering, or solution architecture within the cybersecurity domain.
- Deep technical expertise in MDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and incident response frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence both technical audiences and executive decision-makers in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of security standards such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and CIS.
Nice to have
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Microsoft Security, AWS Security).
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a consulting or presales context.
- Proven track record of supporting maturity reviews or executive-level risk briefings.
