Location: Remote-first (Must be available during core hours 10am-3pm local time; South African employment contract)

What you will do

  • Define and manage core payment KPIs, including acceptance rates, performance, and conversion.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fraud prevention and risk management strategies.
  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a global team of payment specialists.
  • Analyze market trends and regulatory changes to improve payment efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve production issues and drive system enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with network partners.

Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of global payment systems and region-specific regulations.
  • Proven experience in fraud, risk, KYC, and investigation management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in leading and building cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in payment operations within the tech, fintech, or gaming industry.
