What you will do

• Maintain general ledgers for assigned entities ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve open items in a timely manner.
• Contribute to annual financial reports and assist with audit documentation.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP to perform accounting operations and support reporting tasks.
• Participate in automation projects and the onboarding of newly acquired entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
• Must have the right to work in Portugal; company does not support visa sponsorship.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and intermediate functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an international environment or Shared Service Centre.
• Knowledge of additional European languages.
