What you will do
- Collaborate in a cross-functional, stream-aligned team to plan, build, and support production software.
- Leverage a product-builder mindset to drive features from initial concept through to deployment and production operation.
- Ensure system stability and high performance using observability practices and monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, particularly within event-driven and serverless environments on AWS and GCP.
- Champion engineering principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative feedback.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and customers to deliver meaningful value.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the UK
- Deep understanding of modern web application development and production environments.
- Experience building applications with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience using AWS or GCP with a focus on serverless or containerized services.
- Demonstrable experience with observability practices, test automation, and the full product life cycle.
Nice to have
- Experience with Vue.js, Django Rest Framework, Kubernetes, or Celery.
- Prior experience in high-growth startup environments.
