What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services that power AI agent and workflow builder features.
• Own mission-critical infrastructure from initial ideation through to production deployment.
• Influence engineering standards, architecture, and technical processes to support platform scaling.
• Mentor engineering team members to raise the bar for technical quality and ownership.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to align technical strategies with business outcomes.
• Push the boundaries of applied AI by enhancing agent orchestration and system behavior capabilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to operate at a Senior+ level with significant impact on architecture and project delivery.
• Strong technical proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Deep experience in designing and maintaining robust production backend systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup.
• Demonstrated passion for AI technology and a commitment to integrating it into production workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience building systems for enterprise or high-scale user bases.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs, agent workflows, or AI infrastructure.
• Visible contributions to open-source software projects.
