What you will do

• Own core authentication domains end-to-end, including design, implementation, and long-term technical direction.
• Develop and operate cloud-native, containerized distributed services capable of handling real-world load and partial failure.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize auth APIs and simplify ML-powered decision paths.
• Implement rigorous MLOps practices, ensuring training and inference workflows are reproducible, versioned, and monitored.
• Take operational ownership through on-call rotations, incident response, and the creation of durable reliability patterns.
• Define and execute safe change strategies using staged rollouts and validated rollback criteria.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience in backend engineering.
• Experience designing and operating latency-sensitive APIs or services at scale.
• Practical production MLOps experience, including model versioning, online monitoring, and automated promotion.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go or Python preferred).
• Strong operational instincts with demonstrated experience leading incidents and maintaining critical production paths.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and based in the US.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with identity, security, or fraud detection domains.
• Experience with LLM-based tooling for internal workflows like incident analysis or runbook assistance.
