What you will do

• Lead architecture and engineering efforts for data-intensive B2B systems supporting billing, eligibility, and marketing outreach.
• Design reliable, observable, and performant batch and real-time processing architectures.
• Drive database performance optimization and schema design across large-scale PostgreSQL environments.
• Partner with product and infrastructure teams to deliver maintainable, cloud-native systems.
• Mentor and coach engineers to improve scalability, developer efficiency, and data quality.
• Advocate for AI-assisted development tools to enhance team productivity and innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on scalable systems architecture.
• Proven success in re-architecting complex legacy platforms.
• Strong programming proficiency in Ruby and Python with experience in Rails and GraphQL.
• Deep expertise in relational databases, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with streaming/batch data pipelines (e.g., SQS, Kafka, Airflow).
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS), CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
