What you will do

• Develop and prototype new product capabilities to expand the platform's market reach.
• Drive the full lifecycle of feature development from conceptualization to shippable solution.
• Collaborate within a high-ownership group to experiment with and validate new AI-driven product ideas.
• Design and maintain scalable backend systems to support high-performance underwriting workflows.
• Iterate rapidly on complex problems, ensuring high system reliability and performance.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve blockers and ensure project success.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building features from the ground up.
• Strong proficiency in Python or extensive experience in other object-oriented languages.
• Solid foundation in system design, debugging, and complex problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous workflows and cloud-based architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to take full ownership of projects with minimal oversight.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications.
