What you will do

• Design and build robust, external-facing API endpoints to power customer workflows.
• Improve database and query performance within a PostgreSQL-heavy environment.
• Integrate the platform with a wide range of third-party systems and services.
• Translate product requirements into clean, reliable, and scalable business logic.
• Diagnose, resolve customer issues, and ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-impact features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, specifically building APIs or integrations.
• Proficiency in Python or significant experience in other OO languages.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Experience with cloud environments, specifically serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2) and asynchronous workflows.
• Comfortable working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs or generative AI.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture.
