TL;DR

Assistant Company Secretary (Legal): Supporting a group-wide review and enhancement of entity management information with an accent on identifying gaps, improving internal record-keeping systems, and managing international corporate filings. Focus on strengthening the company’s corporate governance infrastructure and collaborating across Legal, Finance, and HR functions.

Location: Hybrid (must be based in or able to commute to London, UK office 2 days per week)

What you will do

  • Review entity management information across global group entities to identify and address inconsistencies.
  • Improve internal systems and processes to ensure corporate records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Manage external filings for UK and international entities in collaboration with the secretarial team.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments including Legal, Finance, and HR.
  • Support the Deputy Company Secretary in general company secretarial operations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work from the London office 2 days per week.
  • Relevant experience in a company secretarial role, ideally within a listed company environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with an aptitude for learning new corporate systems.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • ACG qualification or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse internal teams.
