What you will do

• Build REST APIs with Kotlin or Java with a keen focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement secure, performant integrations with payment APIs.
• Design and build RESTful services and event-driven architectures.
• Manage data storage using relational databases.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
• Demonstrated expertise in REST API design.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and transactional workflows.
• Practical exposure to Stripe or similar payment platforms.
• Experience working with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux environments.
• Background in application security and secure coding principles.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code).
• Hands-on experience with Agentic Coding best practices, including leveraging AI agents to deliver end-to-end features.
