What you will do

• Design and maintain core libraries, framework extensions, and shared components across engineering teams.
• Take ownership of system performance, scalability, and high-load architecture to ensure low latency.
• Monitor production behavior, investigate performance bottlenecks, and implement advanced metrics and alerting.
• Establish best practices for concurrency, memory management, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mobile, web, and QA.
• Integrate AI tools into the development workflow for system design, coding, and review.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ukraine
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher
• Deep understanding of Java internals, JVM, GC, and concurrency.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL optimization and distributed systems architecture with Kafka.
• Strong system design, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
• Proactive experience using AI coding assistants as productivity multipliers.

Nice to have

• Experience building shared libraries, SDKs, or internal tooling.
• Hands-on experience with APM and observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
