Salary: $185,000 - $200,000 a year (Los Angeles, CA), $125,000 - $150,000 CAD (Vancouver, BC)

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year governance strategy, establishing KPIs and improvement goals.
• Lead the evolution of Trust & Safety policy strategy, balancing platform values and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of managers across Policy, Training, and Quality functions.
• Direct the strategic impact of the training ecosystem, ensuring global moderators are equipped for high-accuracy enforcement.
• Oversee a quality program that provides insights into the health of moderation and customer care ecosystems.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to co-design moderation tools and automation systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Policy, or Risk Management, with 4+ years of management experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Expertise in drafting, editing, and auditing moderation policies and training curricula.
• Understanding of moderation tooling and automation.
• Ability to partner with Legal and Compliance teams to meet global regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills across Product, Engineering, Legal, Analytics, and Design.
