What you will do

• Generate new investment ideas through rigorous fundamental analysis across TBAs, specified pools, CMOs, and MBS derivatives.
• Implement the Agency MBS investment process through regular research meetings, focusing on both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
• Coordinate trading activity across all Agency MBS products and account types, ensuring all relevant mandates abide by appropriate risk limits and investment guidelines.
• Manage projects with the technology and strategy teams to increase automation, improve quality of data, and create new trading tools.
• Develop and communicate market outlooks, recent investment decisions, and new products to current or prospective clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Agency MBS, either on the sell-side or buy-side.
• Significant experience as a risk taker having ownership for material investment decisions in the sector.
• Leadership experience as part of an investment or trading team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
