Cloud Solutions Architect

TL;DR

Cloud Solutions Architect: Designing and implementing scalable architectures on cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments with an accent on seamless integration into customer IT environments. Focus on refining deployment processes, improving scalability, and addressing compliance requirements across security, networking, and data privacy.

Location: Remote or New Jersey office. Must be a US citizen. This position will require travelling to customer locations in the US.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable deployment architectures for enterprise customers, ensuring seamless integration into their IT environments.
• Deploy and manage cloud, hybrid, and on-premise infrastructures using Kubernetes, Docker, Singularity, and other containerization tools.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers during onboarding, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to IT and security assessments, addressing compliance requirements across security, networking, and data privacy.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Platform teams to refine deployment processes and improve scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and implementation guides.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience deploying enterprise software in cloud and/or HPC environments.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Singularity.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
• Proven track record of working directly with enterprise customers to scope, deploy, and maintain infrastructure.
• Clear and proactive communicator, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and balance technical depth with customer needs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform, OAuth2, SAML, Slurm, Networking, Prometheus, and Grafana.
