Clinical Pharmacist

TL;DR

Clinical Pharmacist (Medical): Providing safe and effective cannabis-based medicine (CBPM) care with an accent on clinical prescribing, prescription review, and patient education. Focus on delivering personalized treatment plans, maintaining GPhC standards, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive improved patient outcomes.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Winnersh, UK (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Salary: £67,500 (pro rata).

What you will do

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team by managing complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop clinical pathways and improve outcomes.

Requirements

• GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
• At least 2 years of prescribing experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage complex workflows and resolve problems independently.

Nice to have

• Prior knowledge of cannabis-based medicines (CBPM).
