TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the US (Role offers flexibility between Remote and On-site in NYC).

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Design and build scalable, maintainable backend services to support core products and bank integrations.
  • Lead technical initiatives, define architecture, and mentor team members.
  • Partner with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and ship impactful features.
  • Uphold engineering best practices including code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews to ensure system reliability.
  • Solve complex technical problems while cultivating an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in backend development with languages like Python.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and production-ready code.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
