TL;DR

Commercial Account Executive (AI/SaaS): Developing and managing a territory of digital native commercial accounts to win net-new customers for an AI-powered analytics platform with an accent on pipeline generation and value-based selling. Focus on leveraging generative AI tools to personalize outreach, manage complex deal cycles, and translate technical data capabilities into clear business value.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)

Salary: $80k - $95k per year

What you will do

  • Develop and manage a territory of commercial accounts to win net-new customers.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound conversion.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, translating complex AI capabilities into clear business outcomes.
  • Leverage generative AI and automation tools to personalize outreach and accelerate research.
  • Manage full-cycle deal management from initial engagement to closing deals typically valued at $50k+.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insight-driven customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying technology sales experience.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Chicago 2-3 days per week.
  • Strong executive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Proven AI literacy, including experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Business Intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics markets.
  • Previous inside sales experience.
