Salary: $160,000–$220,000 (Total compensation up to $280,000)

What you will do

• Build high-performance servers in Rust deployed on GCP to interface with the Solana network.
• Develop, scale, and secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Manage and optimize MySQL and Redis databases for real-time blockchain data handling.
• Collaborate across the development cycle from ideation to production deployment.
• Establish testing and security measures to protect against blockchain-specific threats.
• Maintain high coding standards with a focus on extensibility, reliability, and low latency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in performant service development at scale.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to New York City.
• Strong expertise in database design, indexing, and query performance tuning.
• Experience with microservices architecture and messaging queues (e.g., pub/sub).
• Proficiency with GCP services and complex CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain development, specifically SVM programs.
• Experience with data indexing strategies for on-chain information.
