What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end rule filing process, serving as the primary point of contact with the SEC.
• Research and interpret complex SEC and SRO rules and regulations to provide strategic guidance.
• Advise business and product teams on the interpretation of the hirify.global Rulebook.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support exchange committee and Board materials preparation.
• Manage regulatory examinations, inquiries, and industry meeting attendance.

Requirements

• JD degree with minimum 5 years of experience at the SEC, an SRO, or a law firm covering exchange matters.
• Proven expertise in the 19b-4 filing process and rule drafting.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with regulators, Board members, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment with creative problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a start-up environment.
• Residency in the New York Tri-state area with preference for occasional in-office attendance in the Financial District.
