Salary: $210,000–$280,000

What you will do

• Develop and oversee the company’s legal function with a specific focus on M&A, project financing, and credit agreements.
• Lead complex due diligence processes from initiation through to deal closure.
• Provide actionable legal and business advice to senior leadership, finance, corporate development, and technical teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Supervise outside counsel and assist in managing the company's global legal operations and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive high standards of ethics, anti-corruption, and organizational safety.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and active admission to a state bar required.
• 8-12 years of total legal experience, including at least 4 years as a corporate associate at a top law firm.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
• Proven track record as a primary attorney on transactions, including joint ventures, project financings, and purchase agreements.
• Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically (approximately once per quarter).

Nice to have

• French language proficiency.
• Experience in tax restructuring, subsidiary management, or SaaS and IT commercial contracting.
