What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core API management software and underlying components.
• Implement innovative features for proxying, load balancing, and database support.
• Perform bug troubleshooting, performance tuning, and low-level optimizations.
• Engage with the open-source community to drive industry trends.
• Bridge technical gaps between hirify.global and third-party deployment platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of server-side application development experience.
• 3+ years of Rust programming experience with a solid understanding of async Rust.
• Expertise in designing highly scalable, distributed, and resilient systems.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise in Linux systems troubleshooting and profiling.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and Linux networking stacks (L7/L4).
• Must be able to work on-site in Shanghai.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Tokio.
• Proven contributions to Rust open-source projects.
• Experience with NGINX, OpenResty, hirify.global, or LuaJIT.
• Understanding of VM implementations, eBPF, or WASM.
