What you will do

• Analyze complex geoscientific datasets to prioritize exploration targets.
• Design, budget, and execute field programs ranging from mapping to advanced drilling.
• Collaborate with data scientists to implement and refine analytical geological methods.
• Provide technical guidance to in-country project teams and engage with key stakeholders.
• Manage project outcomes, including health, safety, environment, and community relations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of ore deposit types, specifically sediment-hosted stratiform copper or magmatic sulfide.
• Excellence in generative analysis and integration of large geoscientific datasets.
• Proficiency in standard geological software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Ability to lead and inspire interdisciplinary teams across different cultures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the designated countries (USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, UK, Zambia, DRC, Namibia, Finland, Sweden, or Botswana).

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, R, or C++).
• Knowledge of geostatistics and advanced statistical methods for geoscientific data.
• International exploration experience, particularly in the Central African Copperbelt.
