TL;DR

Strategic Operations Manager (AI): Building and scaling Claude Marketplace by connecting Claude-powered enterprise tools through technology partnerships and customer relationships with an accent on program operations, program management, and product management. Focus on setting up and enabling marketplace transactions, improving operational processes, and translating on-the-ground observations into product and policy requirements.

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $300,000 - $355,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own the marketplace transaction across cross-functional teams, including BD, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Fill operational gaps as the program scales, managing data, triaging requests, and standing up lightweight processes.
  • Continuously improve the operational processes that support the Marketplace program, including onboarding, billing, and reporting.
  • Translate on-the-ground observations into product and policy requirements that inform the Marketplace roadmap.
  • Monitor and report on program health and throughput to Marketplace leadership.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in partner management, program management, account management, or a related commercial operations role at a technology company.
  • A track record of managing multiple external relationships while keeping internal stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Experience running programs across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to build and improve processes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working closely with sales or GTM teams.
  • Clear, concise communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the enterprise SaaS or developer platform ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML products and how enterprises are adopting AI into their technology stacks.
  • A background in consulting, business operations, or strategy roles.
  • Experience at a high-growth technology company during a period of rapid scaling.
  • Experience operating a two-sided marketplace, app store, or platform partner program with a transaction or revenue-share component.
