Backend Engineer Apprentice (Circularity): Building the trade-in experience that connects customers selling their used devices with refurbishers looking to source supply with an accent on AI to detect the device model and assess its condition. Focus on giving refurbishers the tools to manage their listings and compete for supply.

Location: On-site in Paris, France

Salary: €1.6K per month

What you will do

  • Build the trade-in experience connecting customers selling used devices with refurbishers.
  • Help users get the best offer for their device, leveraging AI to detect the device model and assess its condition.
  • Give refurbishers the tools to manage their listings and compete for supply.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in the last year of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, ideally specializing in Backend Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of basic coding languages (C, C++, Java, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Basic programming experience (internships/working experience, GitHub work, personal or student projects).
  • Knowledge of databases and operating systems; Linux is a plus.
  • You are 100% comfortable working in English; French is a plus.
