Location: Must be based in the USA, Canada, UK, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Israel, or the UAE.

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of Python integrations, including architecture, performance, and API design.
• Build and maintain high-quality connectors for orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, and Prefect.
• Drive the AI/LLM integration strategy, specifically for RAG architectures and ML feature pipelines.
• Engage with the open-source community to triage issues and advocate for user needs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align integration roadmaps.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a background in data engineering or data science.
• Deep expertise in building production-grade Python connectors and SDKs.
• Strong command of the Python data ecosystem including NumPy, Pandas, and Pydantic.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows, vector search, or feature engineering in production.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, SQL, and OLAP systems.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and open-source collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production.
• Familiarity with hirify.global or similar high-performance OLAP databases.
• Experience with the JVM ecosystem.
