Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Rotterdam office for 2 days per week

What you will do

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end design process, from initial research and discovery to validation.
• Define the product strategy and experience for search, discovery, and booking conversion.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams to improve search relevance and ranking.
• Identify UX opportunities by deeply understanding internal operational goals and customer feedback.
• Facilitate workshops and advocate for design thinking across internal stakeholder teams.
• Drive performance and metrics through conscious, data-informed design solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design for complex digital products.
• Strong experience designing for search, discovery, or marketplace platforms.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end user journeys for multi-step decision flows.
• Proven ability to independently drive discovery and define problem spaces.
• Strong background in data-driven design and experimentation.
• Must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 2 office days in Rotterdam.

Nice to have

• Experience with ranking, recommendation systems, or personalization logic.
• Experience working in two-sided marketplaces.
• Familiarity with conversion optimization and funnel metrics.
• Experience mentoring designers or contributing to design systems.
