What you will do

• Develop and scale agent infrastructure including orchestration, tool execution, and evaluation pipelines.
• Build reliable, observable, and secure backend systems for AI-powered assistant features.
• Implement the trust and permissions layer to safely allow agent autonomy.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI capabilities into the core platform and API.
• Participate in incident response and architectural decision-making.
• Mentor future team members as the engineering organization grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in shipping production-grade systems.
• Must be based in Americas or EMEA time zones.
• Hands-on experience building systems around LLMs, including tool use, structured output, and context management.
• Strong backend fundamentals with focus on reliability, observability, and security.
• Self-directed mindset with ability to thrive in an early-stage product environment within a growth-stage company.
• Strong communication skills suitable for a fully-remote global culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.
• Experience with evaluation and observability frameworks like Langfuse or Langchain.
• Background in subscription business models or developer tools.
• Experience building Slack integrations or other conversational interfaces.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML tooling.
