What you will do

• Develop foundational systems and the context graph powering the Faros platform.
• Design and implement an operational data platform integrating signals from the software development lifecycle.
• Pioneer AI systems and agents using rich operational context for intelligent software building.
• Collaborate across product, data, and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges at scale.
• Write high-quality code focused on craftsmanship and long-term impact.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Mateo, CA for a hybrid work schedule.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), embeddings, vector stores, and prompt design.
• Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Background in building web services, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong database fundamentals in SQL and NoSQL.
